Termini d'uso di PolyDuel

Versione t1 · in vigore dal 24 ottobre 2026

1. Chi siamo e cosa offriamo

11. Modifiche

Possiamo aggiornare questi termini.

PolyDuel terms of use

Version t1 · effective from 24 October 2026

1. Who we are and what we offer

PolyDuel is a language learning game with cards to guess (true or bluff). It is run by Agere Lab di Nicola Cioffi, Via Vincenzo Gioberti 26, 81030 Orta di Atella (CE), Italy, VAT IT04845660614, reachable at ciao@agerelab.online. By using the app you accept these terms. Personal data is covered by the privacy notice.

2. Minimum age

Online duels are only for players aged 14 and over. Anyone under 14 can only use the offline modes, which send no data. If we find that an online profile belongs to someone under 14, we delete it.

3. The online profile

To challenge other players you choose a game name. No email or password is needed: the profile is tied to an anonymous code stored on your phone. If you delete the app or its data, the profile cannot be recovered. You can delete your profile at any time from the Profile screen.

4. Rules of conduct

5. What we can do when the rules are broken

Any player can report an opponent's name. When a name receives several reports it is hidden from others and replaced with a generic name. We may also hide names, cancel results, suspend or delete profiles that break these rules, without notice in serious cases. If you think a decision is wrong, write to us.

6. Opponents and bots

Duels are asynchronous: you often play against a round already recorded by another player. Bots may be used to create matches: if no opponent is found within a few seconds, you play against a bot.

7. The service is a game, provided "as is"

PolyDuel is an educational pastime and does not replace a language course. We offer it as is and as available: we may change it, add or remove features, content and cards, or suspend it, including for maintenance. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error free, or that scores will be kept forever. Points, results and streaks have no monetary value.

8. Content

The app's texts, drawings, name and design are ours or used under licence. You may use them only to play, not copy or redistribute them.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage arising from using or being unable to use the game, such as lost scores or progress. Liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence and the rights the law grants to consumers always remain unaffected; these terms do not limit them.

10. Advertising and purchases

Today the app is free and shows no ads. If we add ads or purchases in the future, we will state their conditions in the app; payments will also follow the rules of the store you downloaded the app from.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is shown at the top; for important changes we will ask you to accept them again in the app. If you do not accept them you can keep playing offline or delete your profile.

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction and any more favourable rules of your country of residence still apply.
